rk Monta is the founder of Cebu Bloggers Society Inc. (CBSi). He served as its first president in 2008-2009.
He is also one of the brilliant minds behind the success of
- World Bloggers’ Day – an international blogging event that started here in Cebu; and,
- Best Cebu Blogs Awards (Best Cebu Blogs) – the only blog award-giving-body in Cebu now on its 4th year.
Before his stint as a full-time blogger in 2007, Mark was a Department of Science and Technology (DOST) Scholar from 2004-2007 and the DOST Scholars Association (SA) CEBU Board of Director from 2006-2007.
He is a freelance writer and an IT personnel at a watch-manufacturing company in Lapu-lapu city. He is a movie-goer and a DOWNLOAD addict.
